How we approach a job

Most of what goes wrong in a garden goes wrong below the surface. Patios sink because the sub-base was too thin. Fences blow over because the posts were not set deep enough. Lawns drown because nobody worked out where the water was going.

We would rather spend longer on the parts nobody sees than come back in two years to redo the parts everybody does. That means we will sometimes quote higher than the next firm, and we will explain exactly what the difference buys you.

We will also tell you when something is not worth doing, or when a cheaper approach would serve you just as well.
